Happy Halloween

This was the first year Cooper went trick or treating and he loved it. We went with Auntie T, Uncle Greg and Kamryn. We had a great time.

Awesome evening

Last night was a night I wish I could bottle up and open when we aren't having such a great night. We've been struggling with Cooper using his listening ears which results in lots of "Cooper I told you", "if you do that one more time". It just makes for a long evening. But, last night was awesome. Cooper had a great day at school, did great at baseball. Baseball got rained out so we decided to go to chick fil a and we had a great time there. Cooper ate and then played. He made some friends. It makes my heart smile when I hear him playing and talking with friends. I am so blessed. Evenings like this make the bad ones not so bad.

3 years old

Where did time go? It is so hard to believe that Cooper is 3. It's been an amazing 3 years. My heart is filled with love and happiness I never knew existed. It's awesome to see him grow and learn. He is doing great at his new school. The transition seemed very easy for him. I was so worried he wound have trouble. We went to Old McDonald's (McDonald's) with Nana,
Auntie T, Uncle Greg, Dylan and Kamryn. It was fun. Tomorrow is Cooper's party. Under the sea is the theme. We got a bounce house, which is really all he asked for. I hope he has a great time at his party. I know I am looking forward to it.

New school

After much thought and prayer Johnny and I have decided to move Cooper to a new school. We have had some issues with the last of engagement from teachers, only telling us the negative things Cooper did on any given day, the director making changes per our request only for them to go back to the old way a few weeks later. Cooper has been at Xplor since he was 6 months old, so this change is definitely bittersweet for us. We feel from an academic standpoint alone this move is the absolute best one for him. His friend Audrey goes to school there. The director took her time to talk to us and answer ALL of our questions. His new class has a computer which he is super excited about. We are excited for him to make new friends and learn lots of new stuff.

Where do I start?

It has been too long since I blogged. I really need to get better about it. My last post was about potty training. We are potty trained...yay! Cooper wears a pull-up to bed. Cooper is growing so much in all parts of his life. He actually has full conversations with people. He says some of the cutest things. One of my favorites is "What is it that noise" when he hears a noise. He still loves Donkey and takes him with us wherever we go. Life for us has not slowed down much, we are more involved in church. Johnny has taken the role of LIFEGroup Leader Coordinator and I am hosting a small woman's group this summer. We are getting ready for our vacation in July. We are going to Nashville, Pigeon Forge, Atlanta and then Alabama for my family reunion. We are going to Dollywood and to an Atlanta Braves game. I am really looking forward to it. I am sure I will blog about it all.

Happy summer y'all.

big boy underwear

Last week Cooper started potty training. We went and bought his "big boy underwear", he picked them out and was so proud when he put them on. He did great at school, he only had 2 accidents at school. Home is a different story! HE.WILL.NOT.GO. He will sit on the potty for a few seconds and say "all done" when really he has not done anything. He will go if we put him in a diaper or pull-up. I need to remember it has only been a week and this we new for him and for us. He will get it.
